STRAIN DEVELOPMENT

We offer GM and non-GMO strain development services. 

For GM strains we use our in-house gene-editing technology Forge Editing - granting full rights to use the strain without future licensing uncertainties.

Especially useful for non-model organisms, Forge Editing is significantly more robust than CRISPR-based methods, capable of deletions, insertions, and point mutations with high reliability. 

For non-GM strain development we can work with you to develop phenotypic assays and screening strategies. Alternatively we can employ mutagenesis, 3D library creation, and exhaustive sequencing to find mutations in specified regions of the genome.
